Welcome to Glistening Light™ Photography and thank you for visiting. I am a nature and scenic scape photographer whose mission is to capture creative shots in everyday scenes. Not only do I photograph my surroundings, but I also study the history behind the places that I travel.

My initial start in photography began in 2009 with the creation of the Glistening Light web site. Since then, it has provided a full gallery with hundreds of photoshots, blog posts, unique gift items, screen savers, photo wallpaper and much more.

Since early childhood, I've had the opportunities to travel from Mississippi's Gulf Coast to the Atlantic seaboard of Virginia. Ocean waves crashing on Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, sunsets gleaming upon Morris Island Lighthouse, the historic city of Savannah, Georgia, the beaches of Tybee Island, the glory of historic homes on the Battery of Charleston, SC, and oceanic seashells that scatter the pristine beaches of Virgina. Perhaps, though, more destinations will be added to my list in due time.

As individuals, we are often caught up with the busy schedule of life and rarely do we slow down enough to appreciate the beauty of creation made just for us. A gleaming sunset across the gulf waters of Florida, the autumn colors of Cades Cove in the Great Smoky Mountains or perhaps just the morning sunrise from the nearby fresh water lake can hold a feeling of its own when captured by the lens of a camera. It's amazing when you can capture just a small portion of an entire scene and emphasize what we seem to miss in every day life. Sometimes, it begins by taking the road less traveled by.
