It’s Christmas Time In Natchez, Mississippi For 2010

Friday, November 26th, marked the beginning of Christmas for the City of Natchez. While visiting Natchez during the day to see Walt Grayson and his wife Mrs. Jo at Cover To Cover Books & More on Main Street, I was told about the evening's festive events by the store owners Charles and Rosemary Hill. So, I stayed a little while and waited for the Lighting of the Tree on Main Street in Natchez. Hundreds of people gathered to hear live Christmas caroling to the smell of seasoned steaks and food in nearby mainstreet restaurants.
