“Oh! That Reminds Me” More Mississippi Homegrown Stories With Walt Grayson – A New Book Release
If you're familiar with "Looking Around Mississippi" or perhaps "Mississippi Roads", then you'll want to own Walt Grayson's newest book called "Oh! That Reminds Me". The photos showcased in the new book feature photos submitted by readers to Today In Mississippi -- a Mississippi Electric Power Associations publication.
Attached with the pictures submitted, Walt Grayson (NBC Affiliate WLBT Jackson, MS) shares memorable stories by himself, as well as stories submitted with the photos by photographers.

Walt Grayson came to Engravables, in the historic downtown district of Brookhaven, MS for a book signing on Friday, November 19th, 2010. It was one of many book signing locations throughout the state where he was visiting, along with his wife Mrs. Jo. I got the chance to talk them for a few minutes between breaks on my busy schedule. Basically, I told him "I'll see you in Natchez!" -- where he would be continuing his book signing adventures and also where I would be purchasing a copy of his new book.
The front cover of the new book features the historic First Presbyterian Church in Port Gibson with a golden finger that points upward. The back cover features a scene of downtown Meridian, MS during twilight hours. The scene of Meridian is so familiar with me, since I spent part of my life there. I anticipate the purchase of the signed book since it will become such a collectible item.
Update 12/3/2010: I met with Walt Grayson on Nov 26th in Natchez, MS, just before the Lighting of the Christmas Tree, and purchased a book at Cover to Cover Books. It has some great photos of places that I've been and some that I hopefully will be going to. Thanks for the signed copy!
