Brookhaven is located 65 miles south of Jackson, MS, along the I-55 corridor. Originally named after the town Brookhaven in New York, Brookhaven Mississippi is home to over 10,000 in population. Brookhaven is a certified retirement city and better known as "Home Seeker's Paradise". Brookhaven, the county seat, is located in Lincoln County Mississippi.

“DESTINation Reached” was the name of the print submitted to be part of a display at the 2011 Lincoln County Arts Show at the Lincoln-Lawrence-Franklin Public Library in Brookhaven, Mississippi.
