The RiverWalk – Vidalia, Louisiana’s Riverfront Landing
The RiverWalk is a riverfront park located in Vidalia, Louisiana. The name can be confusing, considering there are thousands of "riverwalks" in cities across the United States. The RiverWalk is Vidalia's pride and joy. Once you leave the high bluffs of Natchez, Mississippi, you cross the Natchez-Vidalia Bridge and into Louisiana. The park features a half mile or so long walkway, benches and more. A medical center exists in the park as well as an amphitheater for special concerts and a nearby hotel, Comfort Suites. The RiverWalk construction was a successful attempt to revitalize the river town and became one of the most successful projects along the river in the Mississippi/Louisiana region.
On this particular trip, I traveled with friends to spend an evening in Natchez on November 20th. It was a worthwhile trip as we enjoyed perfect weather and temperature.

The Natchez-Vidalia, Mississippi River Bridge is the iconic structure of Natchez, Mississippi and Vidalia, Louisiana. It connects the two sister cities together.
Sunset along the RiverWalk. Although sunset is not as spectacular as viewing it from the other side of the river (Natchez), you can still witness the change of colors in the sky.
